Many associate white sandy beaches when they think of Halland. Pleasant summer towns, sun and swimming are certainly found in abundance in this coastal landscape. You can also cycle with a view of heather and through deciduous forest. The large rivers Nissan, Viskan, Lagan and Ätran also run through the landscape. A sight to see is Varberg's magnificent fortress, and you who like art should stop by Halmstad's art gallery. Cycle map Halland gives a detailed picture of the cycle routes in Halland from Väröbacka north of Varberg down to Eldsberga south of Halmstad.
The cycling map includes the commercial metropolis Ullared, Småland's Hyltebruk, Falkenberg and Tylösand. Inset on the map sheet is also the 6,000 kilometer long North Sea Trail that runs through Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
