Småland is known for forests and lakes, but also for its outstanding glassworks. In the south-eastern part of the landscape there are parts of the Kingdom of Glass with Kosta as perhaps the most famous name. In Växjö, which is the residence town in Kronoberg County, there is a toy museum for young cyclists, and the slightly older ones might want to visit the House of Emigrants, which addresses the Swedish American emigrants that Vilhelm Moberg wrote about. Cycle map Sydöstra Småland gives a detailed picture of the cycle routes in the area.
In the north there are places like Lammhult, Åseda and Rottne. On the southern part of the cycle map there are Växjö, Alvesta and in the south-eastern part you can find Kosta, Hovmantorp, Lessebo and to some extent the western part of Emmaboda.
